Hi,

I need to know if the static text field in flash I can put a name to reference in it.

you can't reference a static textfield in flash 8.?you can put the static textfield in a movieclip and reference the movieclip.?and you can use a dynamic textfield and reference it and its text.

I did some tests and i need ''call'' a static text field inside the movieclip .

In ''Debug Movie'' (a control inside the flash 8) doesn't appears the static text field, but when my font (in fla file is missing) in this case i get the reference the static text field in debug movie control.

Does somebody know how can i reference the static text field or how flash identify it?

As already mentioned, you cannot target a static textfield.?If you wish to control it in any way you need to make it a dynamic textfield
