Hi, there
Been using Acrobat v6 for a while, but have upgraded to v9. I downloaded the new SDK, but there is no installer. I tried to have a look at the documentation to get started, but it is all in a zip file. I can open some of the pages in my browser, but cannot surf. When I tried to extract them, they ask for a password...
I was excited at the prospect of v9. I thought I might be able to use a lot of stuff that was broken or unstable in v6, use GetJSObject to add backgrounds, and so forth. I can see this is going to be a long, hard slog, though.
Can anyone give me a shove in the right direction? Tell me where I can find the equivalent of the good ol' IAC API reference PDF at least?
thanks
Jon
How to SDK... ?!Extract the files from the zip file or use the online documentation:
http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/ html/wwhelp.htm?%26amp;accessible=true
How to SDK... ?!There is no executable of SDK installer, it is just a zip file. To use the documentation, extract the documentation's zip file.
Thanks, Bernd. I was eventually able to extract the documentation from the zip archive. Guess I'd better start reading...
