I now get a message that says: Before you can perform print related tasks, you need to install a printer.?Yes/No
When I click yes, I get this: Operation could not be completed. Print Spooler service is not running.?I can print from PS just fine....
What to do?
Upgraded to 2.4 Can't print nowO/S? Printer model?
Upgraded to 2.4 Can't print nowI had the same problem with an earlier version of Lightroom. It turned out to be corrupt photo files. If I tried to print one I would get the install printer message But with other files I wouldn't and they would print normally. All the files I had trouble with were created at about the same time. I also found that if I went to CS3 I could print the files. In the end if I went to CS4 or CS3 and saved the file under a new name. It would then work in Lightroom or CS4 normally. I never found out how the files became corrupted in the first palace or why the would load and work normally in CS3 but not Lightroom or CS4. The problem has never come back but at least it was not fatal. Hope this helps.

PS I use XP
Sorry John.?Running xp and printing to an Epson 2880 (great printer by the way). Attempting to print DNG file.
Hi John, thanks for the idea. I opened another file from a different folder and got the same thing.
I have the 3880, and yes, a fine printer, but I don't know Jack about xp. What if you clicked ''no'' in the dialog?
If you say no, no printing functions are available because LR sees no printer. I'm thinking seriously about downgrading to 2.1 if it supports the D700. Gotta look first.
