updating timeline

hi guys

using cs3 and windows xp professional, service pack 2, 2.4 GHz and 2GB of ram.

this is a problem which happens periodically but so far cant come up with an answer why. when editing?- butting a clip up against work on the timeline crashes the system - the message 'updating timeline' appears and the only way out is to reboot - any ideas?

You need to update your Matrox plug-in. This is not a PPro issue.

Sorry, I don't use Matrox software, but I know that Matrox users complain about this message when they don't update the Matrox software.

Your best bet is to go to the Matrox Web site and download updates for anything Matrox on your system.
