Hi,
The link I try to use is not working in IE (on my computer browser.)
Thank you,
Using: windows Vista Home Basic, 32
DW CS4
Link is not workingIt refers to a local, absolute file path, which may get suppressed for security reasons. Chenge the link to be correctly relative to the page.

Link is not workingHi,
Again, tell me more exactly, pls. I am not an expert, only an old user (old by age!)
Where to change and what?
Thanks, Natasa
The link is pointing to a file on your computer's hard disk, and not to the correct page in the website. This is almost certainly because you have not defined a site in Dreamweaver. See the following help page for details of how to set up a site correctly in Dreamweaver: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/10.0_Using/WScbb6b82af5544594822510a94ae 8d65-7f62a.html.
After setting up the site, you will need to create the links again in Dreamweaver.
Hi.
This is very misterious.
Link is OK. It is working in Firefox. And I am working on that site over 6 months, so till now, all was fine.
I have noticed something: When I open the IE a warning appears: To help protect .... and an option Alowing active content and so on ... yes and NO. I have to choose yes and I can open what I want.
But in this case this warning does not show.
I tried everything you can think of and found: On that page I have a movie, made with Flash SlideShow Maker Profesional. Andi f i make another page with movie the same happens.
So something happens between those two programs. Can you hint me, where to find the option to correct that (to have the option when IE warns me).
Or should I ask programmers of Slide show maker.
The last option, I will not have a link from that page J
Zivjo Natasa,
That warning only happens when you preview the page in IE on your own computer yes??If you upload the files to your hosting server, then this message will not appear. This is the correct behaviour.?If you have a flash movie on any page, IE will show that message while viewing on your own computer, but will not when the page goes live.
If you want to stop that message from appearing while you check your files on your local computer, you can insert Mark Of the Web into your document
Go to:?top menu bar COMMANDS %26gt; Insert Mark of the Web.
However, I don't think is really what you are asking about?:-)?But that tip will stop that nuisance message appearing everytime you want to open the page for preview.
When you started working on this site, did you DEFINE a site definition for the pages??The reason people have asked about this and gave you a link to help file, it is because the Klik link is pointing to your hard drive, it is not a correct link if you are working in a defined Dreamweaver site.
Can you upload the files to your hosting server and provide a link to it, it is always better if we can see the page and it's code to try and help you.... but the important thing right now is that the link for the Klik is not correct...?you can see it when you browse locally in Firefox, but will be wrong when you upload to the server.?Is the file you link to inside the folder with all your other files??
Please provide a link - it will be easier to get some help.?I don't thing this has anything to do with the slideshow maker?:-)

Hi (鍟猧vijo!), Nadja
Thank you for your answer. First thank you for the tip, I will use it!
Second: All other links are OK, my site is as it should be (it is working OK when uplodaded). I found out that when I put all on the web, link is working! So, there should be a problem only with that swf files. As in my other question.
I tried in DW 8 and CS4 and the result is the same. In IE (home browser) it does not work. But since it is working in Firefox (so I can test in my computer) and is working on the net with Firefox and IE, I think my problem is solved. But still think that there must be a reason
Since the site is big, it will take me some time to put it on the web. I will notify you.
Till then, have a nice time!
Natasa
HI,
So, I sent the site on server. I found some mistakes (links are not working properly in some case, I will research that - some links you ought to find result which is difficult for you since you do not know the language.)
But I think you will be able to find out - take shorcuts if needed.
Here is the link
