Dreamweaver 30 day Trial won't work

I've downloaded my Dreamweaver 30-day trial to my brand new iMac - specs follow.?I am running OSX10.5.7.?Upon trying to engage Dreamweaver with any task, I get the pinwheel all the time and Dreamweaver just stalls.?I force quit, restart, same crap all over again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I bought this machine as my older version of 2004 Dreamweaver would no longer work at all, and this was assured it would do the trick.?I give up with Adobe overall, as it's the most series of buggy software applications on the planet.?If someone can get this working, and convince me otherwise, so I can purchase the new software package, I will be pretty happy.?I hope Adobe just wants a happy customer.?If not, can someone make a recommendation to another website authoring software package??

Thanks!

Regards,

Christopher

I find the most useless answers are ones along the lines of ''Since the products run fine on 99% of all systems'' - Well, guess what? I don't care about 99% of those having a good time... keep in mind the 1% who are pissed always scream the loudest.?

Dreamweaver CS4 doesn't and hasn't worked for me in over a month in trying to install Dreamweaver CS4 on three different NEW intel Apple computers, therefore, yes, my 'opinion' is all that matters, as my determination is that a) the software doesn't work, and b) there is no such thing as Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster, UFO's or Adobe Tech Support.?After spending 30-minutes on the phone with a ''tech support person'' in Mumbai who was trying to communicate with me from a call center that sounded louder than a Indian Cafeteria in a NYC midtown subway station, all he did was confirm that the Dreamweaver CS4 was incapable of running on my system.

I am looking into Onyx and Coda - thanks for the recommendations.

Christopher

Ran OnyX - it didn't work.?Same problem exists.?After I start Dreamweaver and log onto my server, it get the rainbow pinwheel spinning forever as Dreamweaver doesn't respond and I have to force quit.?Another three hours between last night and this morning wasted on a waste of a product.?
