I've recently installed AR9, but sometimes (because of unknown reasons and in accidental manner) I see mess (lines, spots etc.) in docs that have been stored on my computer many moons ago, and which I have read many times without any issues. see below how it looks like. Moreover, if I press mouse button or move over menu items or scroll mouse button, the volume of mess increases and a page moves to the left top corner.

Glitches in appearance of pdf docs in...What version of Reader 9? What OS do you have? Off the top of my head, I would suggest you see if you can turn off any video acceleration features on your monitor's video driver.
Glitches in appearance of pdf docs in...version 9.1.2 (with latest update). OS WindowsXP SP3. Yes, I have ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600 and full acceleration was switched on. I tried to switch it off (as well as 'write combining' option - I wish I know what the hell does it mean), and could not reproduce such effect that I have benn astonished before. Probably, it is a cure, in some sense. Thank you.
